چکیده

This paper takes a broad view on the history and the present status of satellite communications and broadcasting. The necessary starting point of this overview is the visionary papers produced by Sir Arthur C. Clarke and John Pierce. This was the real dawn of the satellite communication era. This paper attempts to explain the “fil rouge” of the evolution of satellite technologies across six decades, analyzing successes and failures of past satellite missions, and concluding with a picture of future satellite

In an issue of the Wireless World magazine, back in 1945, A. C. Clarke on a letter to the editor wrote " However, I would like to close by mentioning a possibility of the remote future-perhaps half a century ahead... Three repeater stations, twelve degrees apart in the correct orbit, could give television and microwave coverage to the entire planet. " These words envisioned, before the space er...

Physical Investigation of Space, Dosimetry of Space Ionizing Ray Effect (Van Allen belts, Galactic Cosmic Rays and Solar particles) and Plotting Dose Map for Satellite Circular Missions

One of the main factors for satellite design is simulating of total ionizing dose due to space ionizing rays in devices used in space. By measurement of induced dose based on available data in different altitudes, expenses of designing, satellite weight and amount of needed fuel will be reduced. Optimum design of satellite for protecting satellite against ionizing radiation has considerable eff...
